Melee Combo: The Parade Master can perform a small variety of basic swiping melee attacks. In phase 1, he will use his claws, and in phase 2, he will have extended range by using his new weapon. All of these can be avoided by dodging forward towards the swipe.
Cross Swipe: The Parade Master will slash in a cross shape with both claws. Dodge backwards to avoid this.
Feint: The Parade Master will collapse forward in an attempt to crush you, seemingly leaving him open to attack. However, he will then quickly get up with a spinning slash, so don't go in to punish too early.
Charge: The Parade Master will charge forward if you are too far away. It is recommended to fight in melee range since you don't have any ranged options early in the game, so you will only see this attack if you back away to heal.
Fury Attack: The Parade Master will glow red before delivering a heavy hit. You can't dodge this without the Ghost Walk amulet later in the game, so create some distance or perfect guard this attack.
How to Beat
The Parade Master is the first boss in Lies of P, and it is an intimidating one. This boss has two phases, with increased damage and range in the second phase.
The easiest way to beat the Parade Master is to treat the fight like a DPS match. You don't really get any opportunity to upgrade your weapons or level up prior to fighting the Parade Master, and being too careful leaves too much room for error, so I recommend getting in there and wailing on him as much as you can.
Take advantage of the breaks the Parade Master takes between his attack combos, and watch out for the fury attack. This can be perfect guarded, but it's easier just to run away. If you manage to avoid this attack, you will have a nice big window to get some hits in.
Remember that there is a merchant right before the Parade Master boss who sells Electric Blitz Abrasive consumables, allowing you to deal a ton of extra damage to the Parade Master, who is particularly weak to Electric Blitz damage.
Dodging to your right while locked on will allow you to strafe around the Parade Master. This will avoid any attack he can throw at you, except the aforementioned fury attack.
