Stamina Sorcerer PvP Build

Stamina Sorcerer PvP builds can be absolutely brutal if built well. They are capable of delivering insanely high burst damage quite similar to a Nightblade, while maintaining a high degree of mobility and resource management. These monstrosities can be built as hit-and-run nukes or tanky brawlers, and are highly flexible.

Gear Sets

ESO best sets for Stamina Sorcerer PvP build

Frenzied Momentum: This weapon comes from Vateshran Arena, and we use the greatsword on the back bar to boost healing power since we don't actually use this weapon offensively. By activating it with Rally or Forward Momentum, we can then proc the damage on the other bar if we wish, once stacks are built.

Heartland Conqueror: A very versatile set that can be customised based on your weapon traits. In this case, it gives us a ton of extra penetration on the front bar and a massive boost to resistances on the back bar. This set can be crafted.

Clever Alchemist: When you drink a potion while in combat, you will get a really massive boost to your damage output that will allow you to deal really tremendous damage. You can craft this set.

Markyn Ring of Majesty: A powerful mythic item that will grant a nice bonus to both damage output and resistances. You can get this by scrying Deadlands leads.

Skills

Crystal Weapon: This can serve as a spammable, but is designed to be released at the same time as the full force of Frenzied Momentum, and directly followed by Dawnbreaker, to nuke an opponent down.

Whirling Blades: Your primary execute to be used when the enemy is low health. If you prefer, you can use two-handed on the front bar, in which case you will switch to Executioner.

Bound Armaments: We keep this slotted for the passive extra max stamina we get. However, if you are well coordinated, you can activate this right as you perform your burst combo to help sweeten the deal.

Camouflaged Hunter: Allows you to shut down Nightblades while giving you constant access to Major Savagery.

Streak: An essential mobility tool that allows you to either gain some distance from your attacker or close the gap as you go on the offensive.

Dawnbreaker of Smiting: This is your main offensive ultimate, and is designed to be used straight after activating Frenzied Momentum and Crystal Weapon at the same time.

Rally: You can use Forward Momentum if you prefer and have access to enough healing. In addition to Major Brutality for extra damage and the healing or mobility depending on which morph you choose, you will also activate the Frenzied Momentum weapon.

Resolving Vigor: Your main source of healing, also providing you with Minor Resolve. Try to keep this up as much as possible during combat.

Hurricane: This is your source of Major Resolve, which is essential for keeping your resistances up to scratch. It also deals respectable, escalating damage.

Dark Deal: An excellent resource management tool that allows you to convery Magicka into health, stamina, stamina over time and damage buffs. Be careful - it has a brief cast time, and you therefore cannot block.

Blinding Flare: Another great passive defensive tool that, when combined with Temporal Guard, gives a total of 15% damage mitigation just for them being slotted. Also helps with pesky Nightblades.

Temporal Guard: Having access to Minor Protection for a bit of extra damage mitigation is useful, and this can help save you from many different difficult situations if you have bitten off more than you can chew.

Champion Points

Master at Arms: Direct damage is one of the most common types in PvP, and is often where the ability to burst down your opponents lies, making this a valuable buff.

Deadly Aim: Working perfectly with Master at Arms to boost our primary damage types, Deadly Aim will allow your single target abilities to deal even more damage.

Ironclad: Since direct damage is so common, it is important to also defend against it. That is where Ironclad comes in, boosting your mitigation against this damage type.

Resilience: No matter what the meta is running, critical damage will always be a big part of what many players build around in PvP. It is important to defend against that, and Resilience will help you there in combination with Impenetrable armour pieces.

Boundless Vitality: Every bit of health makes a difference, especially in some of the tougher content that The Elder Scrolls Online has to offer. This will help you bump yours up a little more, increasing your survivability.

Slippery: In PvP, pinning your opponent down with CC before you burst them down is important. This will prevent that from happening to you so easily, making it an important addition.

Rejuvenation: Recoveries are important for every role. For healers, it is essential for keeping your group alive, for tanks, it is the source of most of your buffs and debuffs, for DPS, you can't deal damage with no fuel, and in PvP, no resources means death.

Celerity: Extra movement speed is an amazing boost in all content. In PvE, it helps massively with avoiding nasty mechanics, and in PvP, it allows you to run circles around your opponents.

Mundus Stone

Elder Scrolls Online Lover Penetration Mundus Stone

The best Mundus Stone to use on this build is the Lover for significantly better Penetration. The Lover gives the best overall boost to damage output on average against players, especially since players in PvP tend to run a lot of resistance. However, if you need more recovery, consider the Serpent instead.

Food Buff

ESO Artaeum Takeaway Broth food buff

The Artaeum Takeaway Broth offers an excellent combination of Max Health, Max Stamina, Health Recovery and Stamina Recovery, making it perfect for Stamina-oriented PvP characters. However, if you can't keep up with its hefty cost, you can go with the Dubious Camoran Throne for similar stats, but no Health Recovery.

Race

Dark Elf best race for ESO stamina PvP builds

My preferred race to run on this build is a Dark Elf (Dunmer) for their superior overall damage. However, if you wish, you can switch to a Wood Elf for higher overall sustain, Nord for more damage resistance, or Orc for balanced stats, higher damage and speed.

Potion

ESO Essence of Immovability with Health Stamina Major Fortitude and Major Endurance

PvP builds generally work best when running Immovability potions, which grants a lengthy immunity to snares, immobilizations and stuns. It's good to carry some potions to reveal invisibility as well to counter Nightblades.

Mortality

Elder Scrolls Online main characters from Bethesda and Zenimax, showing the Nord Warrior, Elf Sorceress and Breton Nightblade

Stamina Sorcerers can benefit from the Undeath passive in Vampirism, helping to make them difficult to pin down. They don't necessarily need Mist Form since they have access to Streak, but having access to powerful resource management tools such as Dark Deal can make Stamina Sorcerer Vampires powerful if used well.

Stamina Sorcerers also have excellent synergy as a Werewolf, with powerful class passives continuing over with the transformation. PvP Werewolves are almost always Stamina Sorcerers with good reason.
