Dragon's Dogma 2 Vocation: Thief

Find out how to unlock this Vocation and all others HERE
Welcome to the Thief Vocation for Dragon's Dogma 2. Vocations are a very important factor that will determine the skills and weapons available to your character, influencing your overall approach to combat situations in Dragon's Dogma 2. Some Vocations and unique abilities can be unlocked by gaining the favour of Maisters. These are masters of their respective Vocations, and can be found in various locations around the world.
How to Use Effectively
The Thief Vocation is an excellent combatant that serves best at the back of the enemy lines. While your tankier Vocations such as the Warrior and Fighter may shine best in the midst of battle, the Thief should instead get behind enemies while these tankier characters gather enemy aggression. Then, the Thief can unleash powerful combinations to quickly and efficiently slaughter enemies one by one while they are distracted.

The Thief Vocation is incredibly valuable on all teams. They are designed to be the primary damage-dealers of the party, able to completely nuke down small opponents and deal consistently high damage to larger opponents as well.
One of the primary bonuses of having a Thief in the team is their ability to incapacitate targets. With access to many skills that allow them to grapple onto large enemies, pin down smaller enemies, and pull ranged or flying enemies to the group as needed, they are invaluable for crowd control.
The Thief Vocation is almost entirely melee-based, and therefore can be vulnerable to attack. They benefit greatly from having a Fighter on the team to attract enemy focus, and a Mage to assist with healing and crowd control.
